Friends of Center Park invite you to join Massachusetts Master Gardeners in a “hands-on and how-to” create and maintain sun and shade gardens and landscapes. All tools are provided. Bring a chair to just sit nearby and observe, if you prefer, as the "hands-on" portion of this class is entirely optional. Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them.


    Light rain? Optional. Heavy rain? Stay home.

    Transportation is provided, and all are welcome! Van departs from the Congregational Church around 10:30am.

    Chair yoga is a great way for older adults to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga. Staying seated while doing yoga means that even those who aren’t flexible can safely do the exercises. The benefits of chair yoga for older adults includes loosening and stretching painful muscles, reducing chronic pain, decreasing stress, and improving circulation. It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance. No equipment necessary. FREE for Carlisle 60+ residents. We’ll visit a variety of destinations—from malls to grocery stores—to help you pick up essentials, discover new finds, and enjoy a day out with friends. Trips run from 10:00am to 2:00pm.


    Transportation is provided, and all are welcome! Van departs from the Congregational Church around 10:30am.

It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance. No equipment necessary. FREE for Carlisle 60+ residents. Friends of Center Park invite you to join Massachusetts Master Gardeners in a “hands-on and how-to” create and maintain sun and shade gardens and landscapes. All tools are provided. Bring a chair to just sit nearby and observe, if you prefer, as the "hands-on" portion of this class is entirely optional. Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them.
