    Looking for a chance to shop, socialize, and explore new places? Hop aboard our local shopping trips held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month! We’ll visit a variety of destinations—from malls to grocery stores—to help you pick up essentials, discover new finds, and enjoy a day out with friends. Trips run from 11:00am to 1:00pm.


    Transportation is provided, and all are welcome! Van departs from the Congregational Church around 10:00am.

Friends of Center Park invite you to join Massachusetts Master Gardeners in a “hands-on and how-to” create and maintain sun and shade gardens and landscapes. All tools are provided. Bring a chair to just sit nearby and observe, if you prefer, as the "hands-on" portion of this class is entirely optional. Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them.

    If the sun was the size of a soccer ball, how big would the earth be? And how far away? Gain an  understanding of the enormous size of space by exploring a scale model of our Solar System on foot. Join amateur astronomer Steve Golson for a walk across the solar system.


     


    Meet on the Carlisle Public School plaza. We’ll walk from the plaza to Kimball’s for an ice cream. This planetary walk is for all ages.

This talk will take you through the details of migrating to Windows 11. If you are buying a new system, it will show you how to set up your new machine and how to get your data and applications migrated from your old system.     Open to All Levels of Gardeners from Beginner to Expert. Friends of Center Park invite you to join Massachusetts Master Gardeners in a “hands-on and how-to” create and maintain sun and shade gardens and landscapes. All tools are provided. Bring a chair to just sit nearby and observe, if you prefer, as the "hands-on" portion of this class is entirely optional. Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them.

Food is included and will be delivered to the suite. The total cost is $40, which includes transportation and admission. We’ll depart at 11:15 AM from the Carlisle Congregational Church.     Chair yoga is a great way for older adults to get the wonderful health benefits of yoga. Staying seated while doing yoga means that even those who aren’t flexible can safely do the exercises. The benefits of chair yoga for older adults includes loosening and stretching painful muscles, reducing chronic pain, decreasing stress, and improving circulation. It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance. No equipment necessary. FREE for Carlisle 60+ residents.
