Healthy Helpings & groceries from Open Table
Open Table makes delivery to Carlisle twice a month. They deliver Healthy Helpings - a program providing two meals and some grocery items for people 60+ and groceries that can be ordered online or by telephone. This program runs year round. Open Table website
Heart to Home Meals
Delicious, frozen meals delivered by Heart to Home Meals. The COAHS will pay for the meals for low income individuals over 60. Others interested in ordering the meals can order through the COAHS and be billed. This program runs year round. Heart to Home website.
Meals on Wheels
Meals provided by Minuteman Senior Services are delivered to people over 60 years of age who are homebound and cannot prepare their own meals. This program runs year round. Contact Minuteman Senior Services to enroll at 781-272-7177.
Farmers' Market Coupons
The COAHS receives a limited amount of coupons for the Farmers' Markets in Massachusetts. You must be 60+ or disabled and living in senior housing, and fall within the income guidelines. This program runs from June until October.
Gaining Ground
Gaining Ground is a volunteer based organic farm that grows vegetables and distributes them to low income families and seniors. This program runs from June until September.
SNAP
