2022 Cultural Lecture Series via Zoom Does Truth Matter? What is truth? Does truth exist? Does truth matter? This program is a facilitated discussion of these and related questions about one of the oldest topics in philosophy: truth. After a brief intro to some basic concepts and distinctions, Dr. Joshua Tepley, an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Anselm College, will lead the audience in a conversation about these questions. The goal is not to tell attendees what to believe but rather to give them the opportunity to explore these questions and possible answers to them, together as a group. Registration is required . Slither, fly, creep or crawl to the Carlisle Fire Station for your treat (no trick) on Halloween. No costume necessary but registration is required. For Carlisle 60+ residents only. Please register by no later than Monday, October 24. It would be a grave mistake if you don’t.
