Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them. The Life and Music of George Gershwin. The music of George Gershwin has continued to be part of the fabric of Popular American Music for 100 years. The lecture will look at his life and his music; his songs, musicals, and his collaborations with his brother Ira throughout his short but well lived life. Bring a chair to just sit nearby and observe, if you prefer, as the "hands-on" portion of this class is entirely optional. Please dress for the weather, bring garden gloves, your favorite bug repellent, hydration for yourself, and clippers if you have them.
